Our Mission
To promote confidence and self-esteem in Central New Jersey High School girls by providing formal dresses and accessories to those who could otherwise not afford to purchase these items for themselves at full retail price.
Our Story
The magic began in Spring 2017 when Shameka Tyler was watching the news. While watching the news, she became aware of a non-profit organization that gifts prom dresses and accessories at a very low price or free of charge to high school girls in need in the New York area. Shameka could not get the thoughts of how happy the girls must be and how wonderful it would be to create that same joy here in Central New Jersey and was determined to make it happen.
Every girl should have the opportunity to wear a pretty dress, regardless of circumstances... And thus, our Prom Dress Donation Drive was born. We've dedicated the association to supporting and increasing the self-esteem of central New Jersey high school girls with plans to organize a Prom Dress Donation Drive and Boutique to benefits High School Juniors and Seniors.

At the Prom Queen's Project we understand that prom is a very special time in a young woman's life. Some look forward to this time for years and years before it comes. We also know that finding that perfect dress can be half of the fun!.
